• Know the products to be sourced very well.

•  Get connected with the growers of the products to be sourced.

•  Evaluate price and service offerings of different sources.

•  Inspect the sources physically to get a better understanding.

•  Record all the details of the sources of the products on a database. There should be at least three different sources per product.

• Ensure the best quality products in the most cost-effective way.

• Update the database with the pre-order, during-order, and after-order KPIs (meeting quality specifications, delivery schedule, financial terms, etc.). Rank the sources based on their performance.

• Nurture the suppliers continuously so they improve day by day.

• Identify and report the reorder level and safety stock of the products.

• Prepare and maintain all the necessary documents related to sourcing, purchasing, and procuring.

• Develop new sources, develop new products, and develop new strategies to develop new markets.

•  3-5 years of experience in similar role preferably in a similar industry

•  A demonstrated history of achieving business goals

•  Bachelor or Master of any subject

•  Comfortable with frequent field visits

•  We’ll value any certification on related upskilling.
