Job Responsibilities

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Associate QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The role involves creating and executing test cases for web and mobile applications, performing UI, API (Postman, SoapUI), and basic performance testing (JMeter).

You should be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, familiar with test frameworks, DOM handling, and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include defect tracking in JIRA, working closely with developers, and contributing to Agile sprint planning. Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and the ability to handle multiple priorities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Able to conduct manual testing and test case scenarios.
Should have work experience with automation testing and tools.
Conduct UI, API (Postman, SoapUI), and basic performance testing (JMeter).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, test frameworks, DOM manipulation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and execute test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring functional and regression coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA while collaborating closely with developers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and quality strategies.
Enhance QA processes, introduce the best practices, and explore emerging automation tools.
Work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely defect resolution and seamless releases.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage sprint execution autonomously.
Experience handling multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

Additional Requirements:

Hands-on experience with UI, API (Postman, SoapUI), and basic performance testing (JMeter).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and test automation frameworks.
Familiarity with DOM manipulation and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in writing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
Skilled in defect tracking tools like JIRA and collaboration with development teams.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
Ability to enhance QA processes and adopt emerging automation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
